I have lived in the countryside most of my life and feel the happiest in my childhood home. While I studied in Tartu, I began filling my room with houseplant. In 10 years I have now about a hundred plants. They are the first thing I notice wherever I go.
I have inherited interest in gardening, handicrafts and baking from my mom. Every year I try to grow my own vegetables and tend to the garden. I'm not afraid of mendind, sewing or making for myself and others. I'm not perfect but always thinking of the environment.
In the kitchen I aim to put on the table dishes that look visually enticing. Mostly I do bake sweet things that are perfect with coffee or tea. But vegetarian beetroot pizza on a warm summer eve with the best people? Yes, please!
The past three years I have learned some new skills about floral work and space decor. My basic knowledge and experiments came from working in a plant store that also sold cut flowers. Thanks to that my floral style has shifted more to this wild and seasonal direction. Beautiful flowers don't always have to come from abroad. It's possible to grow some of it yourself and this will be my focus on the upcoming season.
